Back in November, my mom celebrated her 43rd birthday! As with all her birthdays, I bought her a cake. This year, I chose a 6″ Tiramisu from Michele’s Cake Shop 君悅餅廊 in Kerrisdale.
Like most of the other cakes I’ve bought from Michele’s, the tiramisu was light and airy. I especially liked the substitute of the coffee sponge layer instead of the traditional lady fingers. My parents also enjoyed the fact that it was subtly sweet. I’m glad to say that the entire cake was finished by us three! :)

Happy birthday to your mom! That cake looks so yummy :D I never heard of this cake shop, I usually go to Anna’s in Lansdowne for tiramisu cake haha
Thanks for the birthday wishes :) It was so good that it was difficult to feel guilty eating 3-4 pieces by myself :D I’ve never gone to Anna’s, though it always smells good whenever I walk past it haha!
